After having heard tons of (good) things about them and lot of canceled plans, Pa pa ya finally happened on one fine December evening. Located in Select Citywalk, this massive restaurant is literally massive. With three bars, a different section for fine wines and a huge space, Pa pa ya is a sight to look at.
We were greeted well and welcomed by the staff there. The manager made sure that we were comfortable and explained us the concept of Pa pa ya.
Our meals HAD to start with their Sushi and owing to my earlier experience with Sushi, I was a little reluctant to try it. Soon a very cute Sushi Tree came and I had to try the little beauties. Truth to be told, I loved each one of them, especially the little Sushi Burger and one topped with Avacado.
Next on the table were two beautiful Bao’s which were not only presented beautifully but tasted great indeed. The Mushroom and Cheese Bao are a must try for vegetarians, the cheese that melts after the first bite is worth the experience. Non-vegetarians, do try the chicken Bao which is equally good.
Asparagus Dimsums was a sight to look at and devour. I absolutely loved the thin covering and the flavorful taste.
Those who are open to eating non-vegetarian should not miss their juicy Pork Belly and Lamb. The Pork belly is one of the finest you will have in the city. Alongside food, do not miss to order their signature cocktails. The Chocolate Whiskey won my heart with the beautiful presentation as well as delectable taste.
For the mains, we indulged in a soulful yellow curry along with steamed rice and chicken along with noodles. Truth to be told, the starters stole the show. However, the mains were great too
To my favorite part of any meal, the desserts! The Chocolate Bomb on Fire is the signature dessert here and what a great one indeed. It was a sight to see the chocolate ball melt with the orange liquor. It is an absolute not miss when here.
Everything from food to hospitality will delight you here and the experience is worth the visit.
